Visit the famous site of the Tulum Mayan Ruins. This walled seaport, the only Mayan city on the water, had the purpose of trading turquoise and jade for the Ancient Maya. See the famously photographed “Castillo” (Castle) that has the beautiful backdrop of the Caribbean Sea.

From there begin your snorkeling adventure with a boat tour in front of the Tulum Ruins and see them as the Spanish would have when they arrived. Snorkel on the second largest coral reef in the world. Continue the snorkeling journey and enjoy a cooling off in Gran Cenote (one of the freshwater sinkholes unique to the Yucatan Peninsula). Cenotes were sacred to Mayans for their healing properties because they are full of minerals from the limestone base here. Here you can swim and snorkel in the clear waters. End this awesome day with lunch and beach time at Zulum restaurant, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
